The Annual Alder Flats Parade takes place on the Saturday morning of our Alder Flats Rodeo and Race Meet each year! Watch for our theme, which is announced about a month prior to the event. Categories include: Bicycle/Walking (kids), small motorized (lawnmowers, ATVs, etc), mid sized motorized (cars, trucks), large motorized (motorized with trailer/float, Antique/Pioneer Float, Horse and Rider (youth and adult), etc.



Each year, Alder Flats Rodeo & Race Meet events at Alder Flats include a full rodeo plus several race events, such as our signature Pack Horse Race, 3/8 mile open, Trot & Run, Mutton Bustin, Calf Scramble, Ladies Bloomers’ Race and more. Rodeo events include bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, novice horse, junior barrels, junior bullriding, barrel racing, calf roping, steer wrestling and others.

After Saturday’s rodeo events, spectators and participants sit down together for a barbequed steak dinner with all the fixings. Night owls enjoy the Saturday night dance. Purchase your steak tickets at the door for $20/plate, hot dogs for kids $10/plate. Dance cover charge is $10/adults, $5 (15 and under).
